Storage Of Lyophilised Peptides

Peptides will arrive in lyophilised powder form. Short-term temperature change during shipping should not affect the product quality and efficacy. Peptides in lyophilised form are stable at room temperature for several weeks. We recommend storing the lyophilised peptides in freezer at temperature –20 °C. Most lyophilisates can be stable at this temperature for years without significant degradation. Repeated freezing and thawing of peptides should be avoided.

Storage Of Reconstituted Peptides

Reconstitution is the process of adding a diluent to a lyophilised powder to make it a liquid solution. Recommended diluent is Bacteriostatic water, Sterile water solution or Sodium Chloride 0,9% (NaCl). Lyophilised peptides should be allowed to warm to room temperature before the reconstitution. The shelf-life of reconstituted peptides is very limited. We recommend storing the reconstituted peptides in refrigerator at temperature 2-8 °C. Most peptides in solution can be stable at this temperature for 3 weeks. At storage temperature -20 °C, peptides in solution can be stable for 3 months. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.
