Cookies

In order to improve our services and the functionality of our website as much as possible, we use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device and contain information about the activities of website users, which are then made available to the website server or the relevant third party to whom the cookie relates, on the user's next visit.

Cookies are useful, among others:

  • for proper functionality and security of the website,
  • to determine which websites and functions are most used by you so that we can tailor the offer to your requirements and interests,
  • to find out which ads are browsed by you most often, thus avoiding showing ads that you are not interested in.

We use first-party as well as third-party cookies (e.g. social networks).

The cookies we use are long-term (so-called persistent cookies) that remain stored even after you close your browser (during the period specified for the respective cookie below).

The cookies we use can also be divided into:

  • those that are necessary for the functioning of the website (so-called essential), while this group can include functional cookies that help the website to load correctly and quickly, ensure its security, its translation, save cookie preferences, etc. Without these cookies, our website would not work properly, their use is necessary, and therefore we do not ask you for your consent to store and access them.
  • those that are not essential (so-called non-essential), such non-essential cookies are, for example, those called analytical, which are used to obtain data about the traffic to our website, information about searches performed on our site, to determine how you move on our site, as well as statistical, which serve to generate anonymous statistics regarding the use of the website and, last but not least, marketing, which serve to show you remarketing advertisements of our website on Facebook or other Meta platforms after visiting our website. Please also read point regarding Google and Facebook.

Both types of cookies are placed on our website, and for non-essential cookies, we require your consent to their use, which you can withdraw at any time, not only by clicking on the withdrawal of consent, but also, for example, by setting your Internet browser to disable the storage of cookies (instructions can be found on the support page of the respective Internet browser). You can also disable the use of essential cookies, either specifically for this website or for all websites, in the settings of your Internet browser (instructions can be found on the support page of the respective Internet browser). However, after deactivating essential cookies, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website, or the website may not work properly.

Google

We use the services of Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), namely Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager/ Google Ads. Google cookies make it possible to analyze the use of our website as well as to generate site usage statistics. Information about your use of this website obtained through cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server. More information on how data is processed for these purposes can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=sk.

Facebook

We use the services of Facebook Ireland Limited, located at 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland ("Facebook"). During your visit to our website, this add-on establishes a direct connection between your internet browser and the Facebook server, through which Facebook receives information that someone from your IP address is accessing our website, while Facebook also obtains data about your activity on our website. If you are logged in to your Facebook user account and click on the "Like" or "Share" button, you can link the content of our website to your Facebook user profile. Up to the moment of data transfer to Facebook, we consider ourselves to be joint controllers with Facebook, as we have allowed Facebook to place a plug-in on our website that allows automatic collection and transmission of data from our website to Facebook, in accordance with the terms and conditions that you can find here:

https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum.

After such a data transfer, Facebook becomes the person responsible for the further processing of this data.

When managing our Facebook page (profile), personal data is also collected as part of the Facebook Insight function. This function works in such a way that when you visit our page (profile), personal data is collected, which is then used for statistical purposes on the use of Facebook. The terms of use of this feature can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/help/pages/insights. In this processing, we act as joint controllers with Facebook (see the conditions in the previous paragraph).

Social networks

As much as we care that you can connect with us and share website content with you, we have created fan pages, user accounts (profiles) or channels on these other social networks:

The operators of these social networks have their own adopted rules, service infrastructure and their own provisions on the protection of personal data. The protection of personal data of data subjects is subject to the operating and contractual terms and conditions of the companies listed above. We do not ask for statistics to be produced on any of the social networks, nor are we aware that we carry out activities in which we would consider ourselves joint controllers with the operators of the social networks.
